Adopting a healthy lifestyle is the secret to maintaining yourself physically fit. Lifestyle is the most prevailing factor and living a healthier life not only makes a person fit but also extends life. Good health can create a positive impact on our personality also. It makes you more confident and energetic which allows you to relish and savor all the perks of life. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle not only makes a person confident and productive but also drives him to success. A person with a healthy lifestyle will enjoy both personal and social life.


For a healthy lifestyle, you must have


REGULAR EXERCISE

Ø  Exercise regularly.

Ø  Spend more time outdoors and do activities such as walking, running, swimming, and cycling.

Ø  A good morning walk helps to keep our body energetic and refresh our mind.


A HEALTHY DIET

Ø  The diet can be made healthier by

·       Using less sugar and salt while cooking food.

·       Using less oil while cooking.

·       Avoid deep-frying as much as possible. 

Ø  For the intake of minerals and vitamins you must eat more fruits daily.

Ø  You can also add sprouts of gram and moong dal to at least one meal a day.

Ø  Add fiber to your diet.

Ø  Instead of polished cereals the whole gram must be used.

Ø  Include fiber, salad, yogurt, and fermented food (contain many useful bacteria → help in digestion) in your diet.


TAKING GOOD CARE OF SELF

Ø The stronger our willpower the positive will be our decision.

Ø It enables us to conquer our own self.

Ø  It strengthens our willpower.

Ø Healthy sleep habits help you in waking up early in the morning.

Ø It helps to maintain overall health as it gives proper time for the healing of the body.

Ø Healthy sleep habits keep you away from anxiety and depression.

Ø Waking early in the morning and going to bed early at night should be a daily habit.


HAVING A PHYSICALLY ACTIVE DAILY ROUTINE.

Ø Lead an active life.

Ø Be punctual (habit of doing things on time)

Ø Active life adoption leads to avoidance of lifestyle diseases.


YOU MUST AVOID

Ø  Avoid spending too much on modern gadgets like mobile phones, laptops, televisions, etc.

Ø  Bad food habits and an unhealthy lifestyle such as less or no physical activity may lead to several diseases like

·       high blood pressure or hypertension

·       diabetes

·       anaemia

·       various heart diseases.

Ø  An unhealthy lifestyle reduces productivity and creativity in a person and adversely affects moods and relationships.
